inverter wiring
If you want wire the output of a 120v inverter into a service panel(off grid) you will only make half of the circuits hot, yes?
How would you make both sides hot? a jumper to the next slot??

Be careful if you have multiwire branch circuits (where wires on both phases share a common neutral). With both busbars on the same phase, the currents will add in the neutral instead of subtracting as they do with the phases 180 degrees apart. If you have a neutral wire for the corresponding hot wire in each of your brsnch circuits then there's no issue as long as the 120V inverter output is less than the busbar rating.

I remember that now. I would get rid of the multis, which I never liked, and put in standard
breakers.I dont need the 240v stuff so there would be room.
I assume all the romex coming in was 3 wire..?no?
