Question Correct wire size?

I will be installing a new CNC spindle soon in my basement, and those that have used this type of spindle before have told me that a 20 amp circuit is not going to be big enough. They said to install a 25 amp circuit.

The cable run will be around 30 - 40 feet long. Should I use 8 gauge wire, 30 amp wall outlet, and a 25 amp circuit breaker?

#10 is rated for 30A and would be fine here. If you can't find a 25A then you'll need to use a 30A.
