Screws for Round PVC ceiling box

I have one of these in my ceiling: Carlon Box This should be simple, but . . . I asked two kids at Home Depot what type of screw I need to attach the ceiling fixture cross bar to the junction box. They didn't have a clue, and the supervisor never came - I was in a hurry so decided I'd figure it out online and order the screws online. Everything I have read says I need 8-32 screws, but when I look at them, there are many types. I'd appreciate it if somebody could let me know what type I need, and if you could post a link to them on Amazon or Home Depot, I'd really appreciate it. I don't want to buy the wrong thing and strip the holes/have the light fall out of the ceiling.

Thanks.

For a light fixture, 8-32 is the correct size. The length required will depend on your light fixture and how deep the box is mounted. That plastic box is not threaded, so it will be hard to drive the screw for the first time. The screw will cut the thread as you drive screw in.
Since that box is just plastic, many people use drywall screw in a pinch and it works fine for most of the time. Do not use drywall screw for any heavy fixtures though.

Thank you both so much. Thanks especially for letting me know that the holes aren't threaded, that will be very helpful.

That plastic box is not threaded
1 5/8 drywall screws work perfectly in plastic boces, you will never pull one of them out with the deep cutting threads!

Mod Note; this is not in compliance with the electrical code.
