lose of power to more than one breaker
I have a 100 amp box in the garage. On the left side of the box is two 240 amp breakers. One is a receptacle for a welder. The other is for a 220 heater. On the right side are 6 120 amp breakers. I went to the garage this morning, opened the door. The top 120 amp breaker controls the garage door. None of the lights or receptacles would work which are located directly under the garage door breaker. none of them appeared to be tripped. I reset all of the breakers and still no lights. Later in the day, the lights and receptacles started working just fine without me doing anything. Any suggestions?? could it be in the panel??

Welcome to the forums.
When you have that problem again..... see if any of the 240v devices.... like the heater work.
If it does..... your panel is being properly powered with no loss of power.
You'll then need to investigate individual circuit breakers.
