Minimum Height for receptacle

I am adding an outlet next to a toilet. Putting it at the same height as the other outlets in the house will make this outlet more conspicuous than I'd like it to be (it is solely for a bidet). As I understand it, there is nothing in the code that prohibits this. Is that correct? The outlet would preferably be about 8 inches off the ground.

There is no restriction on receptacle height. They can be in the floor, the ceiling or anyplace in between.

Bidet outlets are typically low and inconspicuous. Make certain it meets code requirements, generally GFCI protected 3 prong grounded outlets of at least 15 amps

22awg amperage question

I replaced the charging diode on my lawn tractor. The alternator is rated at 3A 12vdc. The diode i used is the exact replacement. However, i soldered 3" pigtails on the diode leads in order to crimp the connectors onto them. I used 22awg and also covered everything in heat shrink. Then i realzed the alternator leads are likely 18 or 20. Will the 22awg pigtails hold up?

Question about Circuit for Kitchen Vent Hood

I am replacing my existing kitchen vent hood. It is on a 15A circuit that also powers the kitchen lights (LEDs). One of the hoods I am looking at says that it requires a 20A circuit. Many of the others I've looked at say 15. It has the amperage listed as 3.5A. I probably will not buy this one, because I don't have the option to change the wiring/breaker. I am wondering why a hood that draws 3.5A would require a 20A circuit. It seems like even with my lights on, I wouldn't come close to 80% usage on a 15A. I'm probably missing something, so I thought that I would ask.
