Help wiring Honeywell Thermostat for Electric heat

Hi all-

I purchased a Honeywell thermostat for electric baseboard unit. The current thermostat is wired in the following pic:

The new thermostat and wiring diagram is as follows:

Iím not sure how to wire. I assume L1 is for the black load? Should I be connecting L2 and T2 similar to the current thermostat? Thoughts?

Yes. If you wire it the same as the old one it should work. You are not using L2 and T2 which is why they are connected together.
