Wall Switch Box Distance From Floor?

Is there a standard distance for mounting a wall switch box from the floor?
I heard it was 47" from floor to the BOTTOM of the Box.
True or False?

No standards except for handicap accessible (ADA) - something like max of 48" to middle.
I try to match switches in the rest of the room or rest of house.

Back in the day of all 8 foot residential ceilings, we used to measure 48 1/2" down from the top of the top plate to the bottom of the switch box. That made it easy for the drywall hangers to just make a 3 sided cut-out for the box.
