Connecting a high bay light, it's a 250w HPS.

How can I connect a 250w HPS to a 120 . Trying to connect it to a extension cord.

All HPS lamps require a ballast. Some lamps have the ballast built in. Check the model # of your bulb with the manufacturer's website to see if you need a ballast for the lamp. Match the ballast input voltage with that of the outlet the extension cord is connected to. If the lamp has a built in ballast, match the bulb manufacturer recommended input voltage to an outlet with the same voltage.
