Single gang rectangular box to round fixture

I have a 4" round backplate sconce I need to install. The receptacle is a standard rectangular single gang box. I'm having a tough time finding an adapter plate, ideally black, which will A.) Cover the duplex and B.) Attach the sconce to.

You should be able to modify the backplate that came with the light fixture by drilling holes and/or using small washers.

If you can't modify what you have..... they make several different styles of fixture bars.
However..... no matter what you do.... your 4" fixture canopy needs to be able to cover the existing opening.

The fixture does not mount over the duplex. The duplex would be removed and the fixture bracket installed over the box.
