How to troubleshoot GFCI outlet keeps tripping?
I have replace the GFCI outlet with a brand new outlet and it still trips. The Reset button pops out right when I turn on the power. After the GFCI outlet tripped, I measure the black and white wires on the side screws and it still shows 120v. What are some things I need to look at to resolve this issue? By the way this outlet is outdoor in my backyard.
Many thanks in advance.

Okay, I just resolved the issue. The initial issue was I accidentally wired the load white wire to the line white wire screw and the line white wire to the load white screw. I resolved the initial issue but then I plugged in my electrical AC wall plug ground tester and I must have pressed the button for testing GFCI and thus every time I flipped the power switch on, the outlet GFCI would tripped. It all works now.
