light switches not working but power outlets work.
I lost power in my master bedroom and the dressing room attached to it. However, 2 different outlets in the same bathroom work fine. I double-checked all circuit breakers, no issues there. I do see any power in the light switches when I check it with a non-contact voltage tester. I do not see any GFCI things in the bathroom or the bedroom next to it.
Any ideas, please?

How old is the house ?
It's been many years that GFI protection has been required in bathrooms.
The GFI protection can be in another area and shared there.
Do you have any GFI's anywhere ? Check them.
As I look back and re-read..... the problem is not in the bathroom.
Therefore a GFI would not be an issue.
Do you know everything on that circuit ? You should.
Is everything dead on that circuit or just some devices ?

Get a digital or analog multimeter with at least a 250 VAC range. The non-contact voltage sensor will yield false positives depending on the units range capability. You need to measure at every circuit junction from the breaker to the first non working device because there is a loose connection in the circuit.
