Ceiling fan wiring help

My wife brought another Ceiling fan for me to install.. ugh.. Will she ever think she is finished? lol
Anyways, I look at the wires on the fan and there is a black, white and green. I have seperate wall switched for the light and fan. If possible ow do I wire this to run on the seperate swtches?

Thanks
Mike

Hi, sounds like it is fan only ,no light, Just choose which switch you want to use, how many conductors are in the FAN RATED box ?

What wires are in the box on the ceiling.
Have you gone to their website and downloaded the manual?

Looks like the fan has 4 wires.
One is ground (green)
One is Neutral (white)
One is the fan power (blue or black)
One is the light (blue or black)
Could not find in the manual which was which.

The above assumes that the unit does not include a remote control.

You'll have to wire it and reverse them if you don't like the setup.

The fan should have four wires. Normally the light is the blue wire and black is the fan.

In most cases, there will be a ground wire on the mounting bracket or the stem of the fan.

Took down the old fan and here is what I have. A ground wire on the hook in the ceiling and a ground wire on the downrod and the house ground wire. I figure I just connect th 3 together and I am good to go...
