Safety of the wire in attic?
They are wire in my attic. I'm doing some structure repair in my attic and there are wire there. Would it be dangerous if I accidentally step on one of them, or accidentally touch one of them? I don't know much about electricity, but is everything here insulated?

They are insulated but you have what is know as Knob and Tube wiring, It is just individual insulated conductors that are run on porcelain knobs when running parallel to framing and tubes when run through framing. If you touch one you should be ok as long as the insulation in intact. I would recommend avoiding stepping on them as they are very old wires.

The cable with the steel jacket is armored cable and is very tough. Stepping them should have little effect, but I would avoid it if possible.

The white cable is non-metallic cable. It is also durable but again, avoid stepping on them.
