Different Romex Connectors

So I have this romex type looking connector and want to understand its uses.. My guess is it can also be used for flexible metal cable? (with an anti short bushing to boot)... As well as romex wire? What do you say? Thanks!

That looks like MC/AC/Flex only. NM won't usually fit without removing the outer sheath as the hole is too small.

I was never fond of the two screw metal flex connectors. They require tightening to the point that the jacket can get squeezed and short. I've always used the saddle type. Lock better without overtightening.
