Outbuilding Main Cable Size

I want to run a cable from my main house (120V) to my outhouse which is 170’ away.

In my outhouse, I need 10 separate 20A outlets, each on their own circuit with individual breakers (not daisy chained).

What size/gauge would the main cable need to be to handle that kind of load?

Thanks

Receptacles don't use any power so you could run a single 20 amp circuit if you wanted.

What are planning to plug into those receptacles? That will determine the size of your feeder.

I haven't had to use an outhouse for over 20 years and don't think I have ever seen one with a light much less an outlet. This should be quite the classy outhouse, big enough for the whole neighborhood. Hope you post some pictures once it's done!

The OP misnamed this structure. It is not an outhouse. It is a detached structure/building. The OP plans on setting it up like a sound stage with sound equipment and lighting.

The OP provided this further information on another forum.

Sound equipment could be a lot of things. We still need to know the loads.
