Garage heater wiring

I just got a similar heater. 7500w mastercraft but the wiring diagram is the same. I have a 250V 50amp 14-50r receptacle in my garage. I was going to use a 4 wire range power cord to plug this in rather than hardwiring it, but I'm not sure how to do that properly. I assume each hot wire goes to L1 and L2 and the ground goes to ground. Where would the neutral wire go? (I'm not using an external thermostat)
Thanks
