Question Deeper FSE Box?

Hey guys, I have an FSE box with this outlet and cover. I'm using 8awg wires and they don't fit real great in this box since the back of the outlet is so close to the box. Do they make deep FSE boxes, or something else that is plastic I can use? I can't find any but I don't want metal boxes. Worst case I can use one of these, but would like to try and make the FSE box work if possible.

Thanks a lot.

I am not aware of any deeper FSE box. You only need 10AWG for 30A inlet you are using unless you have a long run.

Pre made inlet box is probably the easiest path in your case. I would recommend the one plugs at the bottom or 45 angle or has in-use cover. That way you can use it safely even in the rain.

Yeah I know 10awg is good but this is going 100' away to i figured why not bump it up, plus i had the 8awg already.

Thanks for the reply, can you link me to the 45 deg one? I like that.

This one looks pretty good. It is a little bulky, but would make it easy to plug and fulling protected from the weather.

I just used a box like that one recently and it is very nice. Plenty of room. I also paid about $25 more at the supply house.
