Outlet Getting Power but not delivering power

I am replacing a GFCI on a porch. After wiring, it would not provide any power from the plug. I tested the terminals on the outlet with a MM and it read 120. Inserting the leads from the MM into the outlet showed no volts and a GFCI tester plug showed no power.
I am at a loss.

Welcome to the forums.

After installing a GFI receptacle.... you need to push the RESET button.
The receptacle needs power in order for the reset button to work.

As pjmax said make sure you reset the gfci with the button on the face of it.
Also look at the back of the gfci and make sure you have your incoming power on the "line" side and not the "load" side.

Thank you, gentlemen. Your suggestions sound right. I will try that.
I DID wire it correctly, of that I am sure,
Very grateful!
