Adding new outlets & switches.

I live in San Antonio Texas. I Have installed a half dozen NEW outlets and a couple of switches. Have I created a problem for myself? Do I have to tear them out? Will a

Switch on the left for a washing machine. Switch on right for a dryer. I had enough wire to move the outlet down to accommodate the switches.
. We he have to get a permit, then OK them for me?

That is like showing us a picture of a car and asking if it runs.

Why in the world would you install a switch for the washer and dryer?

We kept pulling out the plugs to save on a little energy. I felt that installing switches would reduce the wear on the outlet. The outlet's work. My question was do I need a permit? Did my self improvement cause a problem?

Technically any wiring changes require a permit.

Those are mechanically controlled machines via a timer.
They don't use any power when not running.

How did you switch power to an electric dryer ?

It was my understanding that any plug connected to an outlet, draw some juice! What ever power my dyer outlet is say 220 or 240 AC I bought the appropriate wire(orange) and switch. Just like any outlet that has a switch it.

I am wondering also why you would put a switch on the washer and especially the electric dryer.
If a customer of mine asked me to do that I would highly suggest to them that there would be no need to do this.
Main reason would be for me telling them this is because I would not want to have to have an inspector come in and also wonder why a switch was installed for the washer and electric dryer.

Curious - how did you install the switch for the dryer. What kind of switch did you use?
