For two weeks now, I have been looking at the back of the box of bulbs wondering why they only offered Type A wiring instructions. I really thought I did a good job of looking for the Type B instructions.
At one of the poster's encouragement, I went back and looked at the box and once again wondered why they only had the Type A instructions. Then I glanced at the other end of the box and noticed that upside down where the Type B instructions. Thank you so much for asking if there were instructions with the bulbs.
In my living room the outlet for my TV is controlled by a switch.
Not knowing my grandson turned off the switch. The TV and
cable box went dead.
When I plugged in a circuit tester it showed open neutral.
Then I realized the switch was off and turned it on
the circuit tester showed correct wiring.
Is this normal or do I have a problem?Read More
In addition to the bathroom fan/light outlets being out, neighboring rooms also have outlets out.
Two outlets downstairs BedRoom, also outlets at front and back all didn't work at same time. There were not flipping of any breakers.
Using multimeter #1 to check all breakers with main power on , all showed 120 v, #2 , all breakers showed nothing with power off . #3 check the resistance with power off, all showed 0, which means the breakers ok . I also checked two GFCI, both work. What else I should check before calling an electrician ?Read More
