Exclamation

Friends,I aplogize first for my termerity but I believe the Code can be simplified by a better arrangement of certain articles-possibly a Herculean task.I'll confine my prolusion to Art.406, Recptacles-Cords/Plugs, and the Art's pertaning to Grounding re-arranged as follows;(Art---) (A)To be Grounded (B)Grounding Methods (C)Grounding Poles (D) Grounding Poles Identification (E)Grounding Terminal Use (F) Grounding Pole Requirements---(Art--)Receptacles (A) Grounding Type (B)Replacement (C)Connect Grounding Terminal to Box--- (Art---)Cords/Plugs (A) Cord-Connected Equiptment (B)Use---I'm striving for a more "logical" order. Please compare this with Art 406 as written and comment.I'm sure some of you will find improvements of your own. Now,for some "fine-tuning"----Thanks to All, SM

SM,
agreed. It's a new art, so there will probably be many additions/deletions for the next few cycles. We can gnaw away at it for sake of the 05's ROP's.

hmmmm,
is "Code Simplification" an oxymoron????
