Is a feeder breaker and a double pole breaker the same thing?

Thanks.

A feeder if a conductor that carries the load of more than one appliance or other connected loads. Every conductor in a home is a feeder except a branch circuit that is that last conductor on that circuit that serves nothing but that last connected load.

A double pole breaker is a breaker that can either serve a branch circuit or a feeder. A sinle pole breaker serves from only one hot phase most commonly making up a 120 volt feeder or branch circuit. A double pole breaker serves two hot phases most commonly making up a 240 or 208 volt feeder or branch circuit.

Hope this helps
