Wire size
I`m Going to install outside light post with recepticle. the distance is appr.230ft. what size wire? do I need to put into coduit or not? This is a mobile home. has pedistull from which maine goes to maine breaker panel in home . can I attach a recepticle outside on pedistel with GFI then to light & recepticle? Thank`s UNSURE

Not knowing what you will connect to the recepticle, I guessed. Assuming 120V, 230 ft, 13 amp load, 3% volt drop max you need a #6awg. If it is rocky soil, or you expect other possible damage, use electrical PVC conduit. If not, use UF cable that can be direct buried.
