Elect Panel Expansion

AM currently building a seperate workshop... rather then wiring directly to the existing panel which is 100 amp main, I was wondering is their a way that i could tap into the two buss bars and run the wires to the panel in the new building.....not adding a circuit breaker between them...... Any ideas would be helpful...

There are way to do this the way that you want, but it would be better to add a 2 pole circuit breaker in the main panel to serve the sub panel. If there is no breaker space, and there is sufficient capacity in your 100 service, temp remove two single or 1 double breaker and put a main for the sub. Relocate the temp removed breaker(s) to the sub. This way the subpanel and its wiring are protected a their ampacity.

Feedsack - Is the new shop a separate building (detached from the exsisting shop)?
