Are the existing switches 3-way, such that they control the same fixture from two places? You want to add another switch so that you can switch the fixture from three places, or you want to add another switch so that you can control the fan and light separately?

Existing circuit has two three way switches, and I want to add a third switch into that circuit, to control the fan/light from three different places.

Replace one of the 3-way switches with a 4-way switch. Then run a new 12/3 (or 14/3 if on a 15-amp circuit) cable from this 4-way to the location of your new switch. Reinstall the 3-way in the new location.

Do you need specific connection information?
