What type of conduit? What type of wire?
If it is thinwall (EMT) and THWN wire 5 #10s are permitted in a 1/2" conduit. If it is schedule 40 PVC and type THW, only 3 #10s fit.

Be careful installing that many conductors in a conduit. If you install more than three conductors in a raceway you must start reducing ampacity of those conductors.

Good Luck

What if both circuits wont be used at the same time? The 30 amp circuit powers a 220 heater in a garage which is used 5 times a year at best and the 20 amp circuit will be for workshop outlets, drills, sanders, and the what not.

The ampacity deration that I was referring to is table 310.15.B.2. As far as I know there is no credit concerning this deration table concerning non coincidental loads. Whether you use them or not if they are current carrying loads they are current carrying loads whether they are carrying current at a specific time or not.

Hope this helps
