Angry 220 volt kitchen range

Is it safe to wire nut a 220 volt to extend the lenght of wire. I am placing the kitchen range to another wall and need to extend the connection.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

The rules are the same as for 120 volts. Use a connector approved for the size and number and type of wires, and make the connection in a permanently accessible box. Be sure to note the size and type of wire and get the appropriate connector. For large wires, wire nuts are not going to cut it.
