Question wiring an old lamp

How do I wire a 2-socket, pull chain lamp? The sockets are single wattage; and when complete, I want the ability to turn on one light alone, or turn on both lights at the same time.

Do you want the one chain to control both sockets
in a one/other/both/off configuration?

If so,get a black pull chain speed switch for a Ceilng fan,
connect line to terminal 1, and each socket to to 2 or 3.

Thanks for the reply. The lamp has two single wattage pull chain sockets. I think we figured it out -- at least when we wired it and plugged it in, it performed the way we wanted and didn't explode!

I appreciate your assistance.
