Outside Wires

Satellite installers did not cover wires. They are exposed and need covering about 20 feet. Question is what is the covering called and where can it be purchased?

Not sure exactly what you are talking about. The only wires the satelite dudes would have installed would have been the coax cable to your reciever and possibly a ground wire from your dish to ground somewhere. The ground wire does not need a "cover" nor does the coax. If this doesn't help, tell us more. Which wires are you refering to?

Outside Wires

Thanks for your response, but to be more specific, these wires are from the dish to the receiver and they are stapled to our condo's stucco wall. The wires are gray and the stucco is, according to the association, an Indian White, so they would like a kind of moulding or heavy duty plastic to cover the wires for protection and eye sore. We have visited Home Depot and Lowes only to find indoor moulding to cover indoor wires. They recommended pvc pipes!! There is a cover about 20 feet long running alongside our wires but it is full of other condos wires.

Hope this helps, the association is fining us up to $500 and if we get rid of the dish, we end up getting sued $200 by the so-called "professionals" that installed it.

Get a quart of paint and paint the gray cable "Indian White" or at least something that matches it. Won't the Board gripe if they see the blue lettering on the PVC pipes???

The "cover" next to your wire is probably what's known as raceway - typically for indoor installs.

Take a look at http://www.panduit.com/

I agree. The best way to hide these wires is with matching paint, not with a covering. Just painting the wires will be much less visible than PVC conduit.
