Nec Ws
www.mikeholt.com is the WS adress for a NEC WS. Includes a "Code Forum" and a "Quiz Youself" "sections". Appears to be a comphrensive WS. Opinions on this WS welcome-thanks, PATTBAA

Looks like Mike is using the NEC in his opening statement in an attempt to hit high on the search engines. In hitting the search engines it looks like it worked. Don't see a violation to any copy rights that I can recognize, he seems in my mind to be legal in his opening page. In my opinion, Mike is a rather comprehensive and very aggressive businessman that seems to be pointing his business toward contractors and electrical educators. I have used one of his first books in the past to teach a Code class for those seeking engineering degrees with an early book that Mike wrote His book was declared as the college's authorized class book product. While I have found a few mistakes in his earlier writings he does seem to be well respected as an educator and author.
It almost seems that he is implying to be a represtative of the NEC itself but I see nowhere that he actually claims that statement. I suspect he is using the NEC opening statement in an attempt to make it high in the listings in the search engines when the National Electrical Code is hit as a search phrase. Looks like it worked also.
I have grown to respect his influence to be positive concerning the electrical industry over the years.

PATTBAA, Mike Holt is a salesman, and he's good at what he does, selling the NEC. I have several of his video tapes, most recent "grounding and bonding" as per 1999 nec. If your looking to stay current on nec issues you should join mike's mailing list. Their are two other websites you should check out:
