NM Clamp Connector Capacity

Can I put two NM 6-3 w/g through a single 1.25" NM clamp connector?

The romex connector would not be listed for use as you discribe. You might want to ask for a ruling from your AHJ but I suspect he will say the same thing

Hope this helps

OK, I suspected that. How do you determine the appropriate size clamp connector for a given NM cable? I looked on the packaging and on the Halex web site but did not see a listing (I expected lists similar to the extensive ones found on wirenut packages). What size would I need for my NM #6-3 w/g?

Romex connectors are usually sized equal to the widest measurement of the cable being secured.

Good Luck
