4 way switch

2 questions:
Is this correct? I want to wire some recessed lights with 2-3way switches and 1-4 way, so I can turn the lights on from any of the 3 switches. I am bring in the power to the 1st switch box, then using 12-3 to the 4 way, then 12-3 to the last 3 way, then wiring the recessed cans. Is that right?
2nd question:
In the above situation, if I want a switch for another light in the room, can I take the hot lead (if there is one) from the 4 way in the second box, to use for the other ssitch in the second box?
Is there a hot lead (always hot) in the second box with the 4 way?
