Just match the gauge and type you're wiring with. If you're wiring with 12/2 NM-B, you can make your pigtails from the snippings and leftovers (use 6 inches at least).

I have purchased a couple of motion sensor flood lights for the deck (2nd floor) on the rear of my townhome. I am looking to mount them on the 3rd floor above the deck, and would like to know what would be the best way to route the cable (I bought some outdoor grade cable from Home Depot). I was thinking to route it behind the vinyl siding, but figured it would be a pretty tough chore even with fish tape.

Started having problems with a 20 amp breaker tripping each time my pool timer tryes to turn pool pump on. I have replaced the breaker and still have the problem. Any suggestions???
