Question

Christmas lights were a bit of a pain this year. Put up the mini-lights and connected 6-7 100 light strings end to end. Kept blowing and replacing the two little mini-fuses that are in the plugs of the light strings. Typically blew the fuses in the string that was actually plugged into the house. Any advice on how to connect several strings of mini-lights without blowing the mini-fuses?? Thanks for any advice

hello Jed,
yes there is a way to keep from blowing the little fuses. dont connect that many strings together these little fuses r around 3 amps. if u read on the box it says to not connect more than 3 strings end 2 end. i have susfully connected 5 strings but u have 2 keep the bulbs replaced to prevent blowing the fuse.

Feed the strings from the middle of the run,
or from both ends.
