Lightbulb

2 lights, on a 3-way switch, have both gone out (first 1 went out, then the other a day or two later). It's not the bulbs and logic suggests that it is not the switch (since first one went out while the other remained functional). I wonder if this is a short in the wiring and if so, how do I fix this? Does this problem pose a fire hazard? Please respond to my email address if possible since I'm accessing from a foriegn computer ... mikegarr@hotmail.com

hi mike,
sounds more like lose connections then a short. and yes lose connections can cause a fire, id turn off power 2 circuit and check all the connections in the lights and switch. if u find nothing there look futher back on the circuit, going all way to panel if neccessery. reasion i say loose connection over short is a short will pop the breaker (trip it).
