The switch which turns my ceiling fan on and off broke. The little brass chain broke way up, so I've been trying to replace the switch. I believe (not certain) it's a NUTONE fan. It has 3 speeds plus an off position. The switch has 4 wires coming into it, labeled L, 1, 2, and 3. I bought a replacement switch and it didn't work at all. When I took the old switch and the new switch apart, I could see they were different in the way the contacts between the 4 wires are made. In the old one, in the high position, L, 1, 2, and 3 are all connected together. In the new one, only 2 wires at a time are connected. Does anyone know where I can get the correct replacement switch for this fan? I'd like to order it on-line if possible. No luck finding anything local.

Thanks,
Mike
