I am unaware of a pocket size NEC available. It is my understanding that you can buy one of those personal pocket sized computers that fold and fit in you pocket then load the electronic version of the NEC on that electronic pocket computer. Just make sure the pocket computer has enough hard disk to contain the electronic NEC version.

Maybe someone else has info that can help you.

Best I have

There is no such thing as a pocket nec. Get the big book. It's probably about 35 dollars in your local electrical supply. You'll be glad you bought it.

If you look closely, this 'pocket' version comes in two volumes.

Actually the term 'pocket book' is a misnomer - it is designed to fit in your glove compartment or tool box

The smaller reference that I linked to earlier is probably a good idea, in conjunction with the standard NEC (NFPA 70). This way you could use the small version without articles related to fire pumps, etc. and then reference the regular book for detailed text in context.
