Question Dimmer with multiple lights

I plan to install 4 recessed lights using a single dimmer. Is there anything unique I need to do? Can I daisy-chain the lights together and all will dim equally? Or do I need to run all of the lights out of one junction box? Or does it even matter?

Just to throw another variable into the mix....I actually plan to dim the lights using 2 switches (opposite sides of the room) using (probably) a Lutron master-slave arrangement. Does this change how I wire the lights?

Thanks for your help.

Daisy chaining them will be fine. you can use
the box on the fixture as a junction box, if it is so approved,
otherwise you will need junction boxes (don't hide them, they
must be accessable)

Since you are intending to wire a three way switch setup,
you must not get get in the situation where the cable between
the switch locations does not get caught between the chain of lights.

The safest thing to do is run power to one switch box,
a 3 wire cable between the two switch boxes, and from the second switch box to the lights.
