I have a 6' light in front of my house. It literally blows up a 40 watt bulb every couple of weeks. Any ideas on troubleshooting this problem? Thanks jkeck@worldnet.att.net

You guys have been alot of help, just a few more question, When I hook up my water heater, the line is 220 - 20 amp, do I need to go thru a disconnect box? Can I wire it thru a 220 wall switch? which is really what I want to do or do I hook it up directly to the heater? The heater has a 3800 watt element which draws 15.83 amps at 240 volts. If I have a 220 line does that mean I have 220 volts? Can you explain 240 volts,220 volts, 208 volts. How do I GFCI protect the light in my shower? Where do I put the protection?
