If it's just the chain that has broken, turn off power to fixture (or unplug), locate the switch, and just hook the end of the new chain in the switch catch. You'll see it when you get it apart. Easy. Even I can do it. Good Luck!
I have taken down an older brass chandelier from my dining room and would like to rehang it in another room. We *must* rewire it first, and as it has only 5 arms, I don't see this as a problem. My question: the 'zip' wire will be a pain to pull through the narrow brass arms; is there another type of wire to use? Our local home imp stores haven't been much help. Also, once it is rewired, how can I tell which watt bulbs will be safe to use? I'd like to use at least 40w, maybe 60w.
I PURCHASED A USED HOT TUB. IT WAS WIRED TO JUST A 220V 60 AMP 2 POLE BREAKER IN A SQUARE D OUTDOOR BOX.
I CALLED A PRO TO HOOK IT UP ON MY DECK,AND HIS BID REQUIRED A $ 200.00 - 60 AMP 220V
GFCI BREAKER ???? IT DOES HAVE A 110V GFCI IN THE TUBS CONTROL BOX THAT THE "LIGHT" AND THE HEATERS"TIMER" IS CONNECTED TO.
MY QUESTION IS : DO I REALLY NEED THE 220 GFCI FOR THE 1HP PUMP AND THE 1HP AIR PUMP ?
OR WILL A 60 AMP BREAKER DO THE JOB AND BE
REASONABLY SAFE?
