Question electric service

My camper has a 30 amp main along with a 20 and two 15 amp breakers. when something overloads, the service that feed it trips and not mine. it's fed with a 20 amp breaker. My question is if i change my 30amp main to a 20 amp will my breaker kick before the one in the middle of the campground or shoud i go even lower, maybe to all 15 amp breakers?
thanks.

A lot depends on the campsite service you are connecting to. You need to confirm what the normal service size is and drop your main service size on amp size smaller that the normal service size provided. If you normally receive a 30 amp power source at your camp sites you can install a 25 amp main breaker in your camper to set that camper main breaker to trip before your camp site breaker trips. You would be limiting your camper from getting more power to serve your camper when you attach to a larger serice connection at a camp site.

You gain but then make you options less concerning choices.
