The electric cord to my lamp has a switch in the middle of it.

The switch consists of 2 rocker arms (toggle switches).

The lamp has a normal lightbulb in the socket as well as a chandelier bulb in the base. Each can be turned on/off independently using the switches. The lamp was probably manufactured in Europe.

The normal bulb is now stuck in the "on" position. Even if the swich is turned off, the light stays on. Its switch on the electric cord broke.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement 3-wire electic cord with a dual switch??????? Or how to repair a switch? Thank you.

hello PamelaF,
you may be abel to obtain the switch u r looking for from a lighting supply house, whin i say lighting supply houses im refering to a supply house that strictly deals in lighting.another source might be your local electrical supply house the 1's that the electrical contractors deal with. take your switch with u and if they do not have 1 they may be abel to order u 1 or tell u where to obtain 1.
