I am putting a ceiling fan into an old light fixture. This circuit has a dimmer switch, light & receptacle on it -- switch does not control receptacle. This fixture had a total of 9 wires in it (2 white, 2 red, 3 black & 2 bare). The combination for the light when I opened it was that the 2 white wires & one red were together, a red wire was by itself, the 3 black wires were together & the bares were together. My ceiling fan has 1 blue (fan light)1 black (fan motor) & 1 white (neutral). What do I attach to what for the fan to work correctly?

The important quesiton would be, what were the two light fixture wires connected to? You would connect the black and blue wires from the new fan/light to the same place as the old fixture's black wire. You would connect the white wire to the same place as the old white wire. That would be the simplest and would make the switch turn on/off both the light and fan. Those will have separate switches on the fixture.
