light/exhaust/heat switch replacement
Tried to replace the switch in my bath. It is a combination light/exhaust/heater switch. Where can I go for step by step instructions. When I tried to do it on my own, when I turned on the heat, both the heater and the light came on!

What kind of switch is it? Is this just an ordinary wall switch, or a specialty switch? If the latter, can you give us the manufacturer and model number of the switch? Is this the only switch in the bathroom? Did you also change the ceiling fixture? And please tell us what motivated you to change the switch -- was the old one defective?
