there is no 110 volts or 220 volts. allowable voltage range is 114 to 126. were you born that stupid or did you take a class? %#$^ idiot!

Actually if you want to get very specific its 120/208. But no one really gives a flying terd.

We call it whatever we feel like at the time... It's called communication. (Most) People understand that 110, 115, 125 can be interchanged with 120. And it really doesn't matter because there is such a huge fluctuation in voltages and voltage drops depending on circuit length and currents. Then you can discuss peak voltages which puts you on a whole other ball field...

And if by "stupid" you mean: graduated with an Engineering degree in College and already making more money than you... Yes, Im stupid. And I did take many classes to become that way.

Now go back to your tech class and gripe at someone that gives a crap. The rest of us will try to get things done while you start your pissing contests.

another engineer. well kid, listen up. 120/208 is what you get on 3-phase wye connections. transformers have windings that are rated for 240 volts. tap the center and that where the 120 comes from, mr. engineer. didn't they teach you that? you're only going to get 208 if you measure between legs being fed from different feeds. ever here of 120 dergees of electricasl seperation, moron?

i've had my fun here. i'm done. see you later. huggs and kisses.

Oh no, another engineer... They must all be Morons.

Thanks for showing off for me though, I just wanted to have some fun with you when you started this thread... I really was just messing with you...

120 degrees of seperation? Is that the thing with Kevin Bacon?
