Box Sequence Protocol

Honerable August Experts:

In a MAIN panel is it customary and code to have all of the ground wires then all of the neutral wires and then the hot wires to be stacked. In other words should all the ground wires be behind the neutral etc. or does it matter.

Thanks

I assume you are talking about the routing of the wires around the box, and not where the wires terminate. If so, I don't think it matters much. But neatness is always desirable.

Well said John. Stacking is not required, workmanlike manner is required, bundling of conductors such as use of wire plastic wire ties is not desirable.
