3/8" vs. 1/2"
Hi,
I'm in the market for a cordless drill & see similar models (say 14.4 v) in both 1/2" & 3/8" models. Why the two different sizes? What is more popular? Any advantages of one over the other?
Thanks,
Bob

The 1/2" chuck is more versatile in that you can use larger bits without having to use step-down shanks.
Some 1/2" drills turn a little slower for more torque. Check out the specs on this.
