Electric Nailer

I was wandering whether an electric nailer is any good. ( Pros and cons welcome). I don't see myself buying an air compressor nailer.

I've owned one for a couple of years and found it to be a good stepping stone to an air operated one.
They are quite handy for small projects, but are limited in that they only shoot up to 1" nails. Also if they hit some tough grain or are used near a knot you wind up with a nail sticking out.

i've got an arrow electric that will shoot 1.25" nails, but i only use it when i'm in a hurry and don't feel like firing up the compressor.

hope that link comes through, but the model # is ARET125.

my biggest issue is that this thing just doesn't have the power of an air nailer. unless you push the living CRAP outta this thing, the nails just don't sink very well, and that's no good to me.

just my 2 cents!!
