air nailer

Just wondering if someone could tell me the difference in clipped head nailers and regular ones? and which is more useful
I am looking at buying a nailer and cant decide which ones.
Also which would be better for a casual user 8 -10 gauge or 10 -12 gauge
Thanks

Cliped head nails are ok, they are used so they can fit more nails in the nailer. Some codes do not accept them. I bought the round head and just fill it more often. I'm not sure what gauge I have , if no one tells you I will check mine and let you know. I love my nailers.

here's my personal choice, as it has the widest range of acceptable sizes for the price:

http://www.stanleybostitch.com/Comme...roductid=N88RH

it's offered on amazon, but the stats are WRONG, it will take up to a 0.162 nail, which (from what i understand), is considered "common".

i currently own 2 bostitch nailers, and this will be my 3rd after Christmas . . . can't WAIT!!!
