Wet/Dry Vac

I bought my first wet/dry vac about six months ago - one of the best things I ever bought. Normal vacuums don't have this much suction and I use it in the basement. It's wonderful.

Using it for dry is easy. However, I had a leak a while ago and had to use it for wet. I know I took out the vac bag and did something else but I can't remember what I did so I can use it for dry again.

It has a blue cloth-type thing covering the motor at the moment.

I can't remember the brand but it is 3HP, 8 gal and red and black. I bought it from Meijers.

Can someone help please?

Make sure the filters are clean and that the lid is securely snapped down.

Like Joe_F said. All the ones that I've used you had to remove the dust cover for wet and just put it back on for dry.

To clean the filter I just go outside and bang it against a tree.
